About Me

My name is Barry Grant and I have a B.A. Degree in Counselling Skills and Addiction Studies.  I am a fully accredited member of the Association of Professional Counsellors and Psychotherapists in Ireland (APCP).  I operate my practice in accordance with APCP’s Code of Ethics which can be viewed here.  I am also an affiliate counsellor with Workplace Options, who provide Employee Assistance Programme counselling services.

I work using a Person Centred approach with all of my clients.  I also utilise a variety of interventions and approaches depending on the client’s individual need. These include: Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, Gestalt Therapy, Transactional Analysis, Trans-Theoretical Model (Wheel of Change) and Motivational Interviewing.
